RC Aerodyne’s 38 acre Searchlight Airpark in Searchlight, Nevada and its runway are being developed into a center for commercial drone testing and development. Available uses include preparation for drone certification, law enforcement, agricultural, and an area for recreational RC flying.
With 300+ days of flying weather annually, Nevada is one of the most promising locations for UAS testing and development. Searchlight is one of very few airports which has no restrictions due to airport approaches and flight paths preventing, limiting or restricting UAS testing and development.
• No airspace restrictions, no nearby airport or approaches (Clean Class G).
• 34 mile FAA approved corridor for unmanned flight testing.
• 38 acres with both Design Manufacturing and Residential zoned lots.
• Power and Water available.
• Paved roads to each lot.
